What you get

Everything a table-service restaurant needs on day one.

No modules to buy later. The same software runs a 12-table taquería and a multi-location group.

▦

Floor and orders

Floor plan with table status, orders by seat, modifiers with required choices, kitchen notes, courses and 86 in one tap.

♨

Kitchen display and printing

Tickets by station on a screen that colors by wait time, plus ESC/POS printing to any network kitchen printer.

▭

Payments with tips

Stripe readers with on-screen tipping, cash with change, split checks by seat, item, evenly or by amount, refunds with a manager PIN.

◎

Online pickup and to-go

A QR on the door opens your menu. Guests pay first; the kitchen only sees paid orders. Pause it or change prep time from the manager app.

▤

Reports that close the day

Net sales, tips by server for payroll, sales by category and hour, voids and discounts with who approved them.

➶

Delivery with your own drivers

Guests order delivery online, you see every driver on a live map and assign orders in one tap. No third-party commissions.

✦

An assistant that knows your POS

Staff ask it how to do anything; managers tell it to change a price or pause online ordering. Every change is confirmed and logged.

✎

Inventory by recipe

Each dish and modifier depletes its ingredients when it is fired. Low-stock alerts before the Friday rush.

How it works

Live in a week, not a quarter.

Create your restaurant, add locations and staff PINs. The 14-day trial starts, no card needed.

Connect payouts

Stripe onboarding takes ten minutes. Card sales land in your own bank account; we never hold your money.

Load the menu

Type it in, or send us a spreadsheet or your current menu and we import it with modifiers and recipes.

Pair and go

Pair the card readers with a code on their screen, add the POS to the tablets’ home screens, print the QR for the door.

Pricing

A flat monthly fee per location, plus a small share of card volume.

You also pay Stripe’s standard processing on your connected account. No contracts, no hardware lease, cancel any time.

Pilot restaurant

Maíz, Wilmington, Delaware.

A Mexican kitchen with a dining room, a patio and a bar is the first restaurant running ShiftPOS end to end: twelve tables, four kitchen stations, online pickup and a bilingual team.

“We wanted one system we could sell to the restaurant next door once it worked in ours.”

Questions

Before you ask.

Do I need special hardware?

Any iPad or Android tablet for servers, any screen with a browser for the kitchen, and Stripe readers (WisePOS E or Reader S700) for cards. Network kitchen printers are optional; the kitchen screen is enough for most restaurants.

Who holds my money?

Stripe pays your connected account directly on its normal schedule. ShiftPOS only receives its platform fee per payment and the monthly subscription.

What happens if the internet drops?

Readers keep working on the restaurant’s Wi-Fi and the kitchen screen stays on the local network. Pending card payments reconcile automatically when the connection returns.

Can I bring my menu from Toast, Square or SpotOn?

Yes. Export it as a spreadsheet and we import categories, items, prices and modifiers during onboarding.

Is it in Spanish?

Every staff screen is available in English and Spanish, chosen per person. The guest ordering page follows the guest’s choice.
